TRSMIMA Zipline Kits and Spring Brakes – Voluntary Recall

Product Recall Notice

HuNanBoLuoDianZiShangWuYouXianGongSi (Trsmima), in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily recalling the Trsmima brand zipline kits and spring brakes.

 

The affected products contain design defects that may pose a safety hazard. Components such as the turnbuckle, cable, or seat may break or detach during use, leading to falls, or the spring brake may not adequately slow down the rider, resulting in collision with trees or other objects.

 

What You Need to Do

If you own one of the recalled products, please follow these steps:

 

l Stop using the recalled products immediately

l Safely destroy the product following the instructions at the end of this message.l

l Take photos of the destroyed pieces and the discarded pieces in the trash.

l Register for the recall at https://tt-trsmima.com/pages/recall-registration.  You will be asked to submit your contact information, photos of your destroyed product, and if available, your Amazon order number or a copy of your receipt.

 

DESTRUCTION INSTRUCTIONS  RECALLED ZIPLINE KITS

1. Carefully disassemble the zipline.

2. Use scissors to cut in half the (1) seat connecting rope, (2) safety belt and (3) if included with your model, the ratchet strap:

 

3. Dispose of all zipline components in the trash.  Please dispose of the steel cable and trolley in separate trash bags/bins or on separate days.

4. Take photos of the destroyed and discarded zipline components in the trash. Show the TRSMIMA logo if possible. IMPORTANT: Photos will be required to receive a full refund.

5. Register for the recall at https://tt-trsmima.com/pages/recall-registration.  You will be asked to submit your contact information, photos of your destroyed product, and if available, your Amazon order number or a copy of your receipt.

 

DESTRUCTION INSTRUCTIONS  RECALLED SPRING BRAKES

1. Detach the cable to remove the recalled spring brake from your zipline.

2. Stop all use of your zipline. Do not reattach the cable on your zipline until a safe replacement braking system has been installed.

 

3. Dispose of the spring brake in the trash.

4. Take a photo of the discarded spring brake in the trash. IMPORTANT: Photos will be required to receive a full refund.
